| Caring for Pens
Wood
Your pen is made from real wood and it requires periodic care as with any fine wood product.
The process of handcrafting your wood pen involves 10 stages of sanding followed by a cellulose sanding sealer and then finished with sanding wax, French polish and microcrystalline wax.
Use a soft cloth to buff up the wax as needed. For best results, apply furniture paste wax to renew the shine. Do not apply any cleaning agents not intended for use on wood. Never use any kind of abrasive pad to clean your pen. Never use any cleaning or finishing product that contains abrasives or cleaning agents in the formula.
The gold, platinum or titanium plating may be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. Do not use any abrasives on the plating as it will damage the finish of the plating.
